Remote Specialist Non-Medical Prescriber

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
?onducting comprehensive remote assessments to diagnose ADHD, considering medical history, behavioural observations, and patient input.
?rescribing and managing medication therapies for patients diagnosed with ADHD, ensuring adherence to best practices and patient safety.
?onitoring and evaluating treatment effectiveness through regular follow-up appointments and adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
?ducating patients and their families on ADHD management strategies, medication usage, potential side effects, and lifestyle modifications.
?ollaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, counsellors, and educators, to coordinate care and optimise patient outcomes.
?aintaining accurate electronic health records (EHR) and documentation of patient encounters in compliance with organisational policies and regulatory standards.
?taying informed about current research, developments, and guidelines related to ADHD diagnosis, treatment, and prescribing practices.
?articipating in professional development activities, such as continuing education courses and workshops, to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.

Requirements: ?alid V300 non-medical prescribing qualification. ?roven experience in independently prescribing medications for ADHD. ?xcellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex medical information in clear, understandable terms. ?trong organisational skills and attention to detail in managing patient care and documentation. ?bility to work effectively and collaboratively in a remote environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. ?nhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.
