This position is entirely remote, offering Independent Contractors the flexibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities
? Transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings with a meticulous focus on detail.
? Produce verbatim transcripts by accurately processing audio recordings while adhering to client-specific style guides.
? Collaborate effectively with our supportive in-office team for guidance and assistance whenever required.
? Manage workload efficiently to meet strict deadlines.

Required Skills
? Demonstrated experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
? Exceptional listening skills and a strong command of grammar and literacy.
? Proficiency in typing with both speed and accuracy.
? Familiarity with legal terminology and the ability to handle sensitive content with professionalism.
? Capability to work independently and remotely while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications
? Proven experience in transcribing legal documents, particularly depositions and hearings.
? Court reporting students may be considered.
? Ability to pass a background check is mandatory.
? This opportunity is not available to residents of Massachusetts or California.
