WE ARE LOOKING FOR PART-TIME ESL TUTORS

What You?l Do:
?uide students while delivering English lessons based on a topic-orientated methodology.
?ngage and encourage students positively throughout the lesson, actively working to improve their self-confidence and English-speaking skills.
?anage a classroom and provide feedback to students on their language proficiency.

What We?e Looking For:
? matric/high school diploma is required.
? 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate is required.
?reat command of the English language (accent neutral).
?omputer literate and able to troubleshoot.
?omfortable using Zoom as a teaching platform.

? Working Conditions:
?he classes are booked two weeks in advance within your chosen Open Availability (see below).
?ou have the opportunity to pick up additional classes outside of your scheduled shift when available.
?ll lesson material is provided.
?ll students are adults.
?hould your application and interview be successful we will ask you to attend a 1-day online training session and present a demo lesson to our quality and training team.

?Open Availability in South African Standard Time:
?on-Fri 19:00 - 03:00
?on-Fri 03:00 - 11:00
?on-Fri 11:00 - 19:00
?at & Sun 19:00 - 03:00
?at & Sun 03:00 - 11:00
?at & Sun 11:00 - 19:00

PC specifications:
?rocessor: Intel ? Core?5 CPU @2.40GHz (4 CPUs) or greater.
?emory: 8GB RAM or greater.

Backup power:

Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life of up to?4-5 hours?(or willing to purchase before commencing teaching). This is a non-negotiable requirement.

A separate mini power supply system to power your fiber router as an independent system.

Internet Connection:
? stable FIBRE internet connection?- at a minimum of 25 mbps upload and download speeds.?
?C is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection.?
?LEASE NOTE WE DO NOT ACCEPT WIFI, 5G OR LTE CONNECTIONS.

?Technical Requirements Other:
?oise-cancelling headsets (Back-up headset highly recommended).
