Operating Room Nurse - First Assistant

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Somerville, NJ area for the following position: Registered Nurse First Assistant. ?hift(s) available: day shift, night shift, and mid shift ?ob types available: full time, part time, and per diem ?mployer features: 401(K), Community hospital, Cross training, Magnet recognized, Medical, PTO, Teaching Hospital, U.S. News best hospital Qualifications: ?urrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing ?ompletion of an accredited RNFA program, including both didactic and clinical components ?inimum of 2 years of operating room experience with surgical scrub and/or circulating duties ?ertification as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) from a recognized body preferred ?urrent Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Responsibilities: ?ssist the surgeon in the operating room by providing exposure, hemostasis, and other technical functions according to the surgeon's directives ?onduct preoperative assessments, including reviewing patient history, to determine the appropriate plan of care ?nsure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and prepared before surgery ?rovide postoperative care by assessing for complications, applying dressings, and offering pain management solutions ?ollaborate with the surgical team, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care throughout the surgical process Benefits: ?ealthcare coverage: Medical, Dental, Vision ?01K ?aid Time Off ?uition Assistance Salary: $85,000 to $142,000 /year
