What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
? Handle and resolve up to 60 calls daily in a fast-paced call center environment
? Communicate directly with patients, affiliate partners, payers, and healthcare providers
? Collect payments and provide guidance on payment options for outstanding balances
? Update patient accounts with new or corrected information and request itemized statements
? Explain medical bills and clarify patient financial responsibilities, including deductibles and copays
What Is Required (Qualifications)
? High school diploma or equivalent
? Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience, with a preference for 2 years in medical billing and direct patient contact in a call center
? Technical proficiency in relevant systems and software
? Advanced verbal and written communication skills
? Strong interpersonal skills and professional maturity with sound judgment
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
? Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish
? Experience with insurance billing and medical terminology
