What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Coordinate all insurance services to ensure timely and accurate student insurance billing
• Resolve coding-related billing matters to facilitate prompt reimbursement
• Collect, verify, and update insurance information, ensuring superbill templates are timely generated
• Communicate with billing insurance companies for efficient processing and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines

What is Required (Qualifications):
• Minimum education of high school diploma or GED equivalent; undergraduate degree preferred
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
• Minimum of 5 years of related certified medical billing experience
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding
• Proficient in Google Suite, electronic medical records, and Excel for managing and reporting data

• Ability to work with limited direction and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Experience managing high volumes of work with attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
