Virtual Personal Assistant / Home Manager
Fledgling Media LLC is a small (fledgling!) startup business dedicated to making life skills education available to everyone at every age and stage. We're currently focusing on our Fledgling Family brand, which provides part-time virtual personal assistants/home managers to women who work and parent so they can focus on their bucket list, not their to-do list.
We are just about to launch our... services and are excited to bring on enthusiastic new members of our team. Join us as we build our company from the ground up.
We are seeking highly organized Virtual Personal Assistants to assist our clients with all aspects of family and home life. The ideal candidate will have a history of excellent customer service in an administrative or personal assistant role.
Our Virtual Personal Assistants will support 4-6 families at a time, with each family receiving about 5 hours of assistant time per week. Our goal is to lighten the mental load for these families and offload their to-do list.
Sample support tasks for families may include but are not limited to:
Research schools, camps, and daycares and distill information into easily digestible summaries
Make and schedule doctor's appointments, vehicle service, and home maintenance
Meal plan and order groceries
Research and coordinate family travel
Prepare forms, applications, and enrollments
Send reminders for upcoming birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and special occasions
Coordinate social events such as birthday parties, dinner parties, etc.
This position offers a largely flexible work schedule; you choose your work hours with the exception of weekly touchpoint calls with each family and with your manager. Additional time may be required for occasional company events and training.
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years in an administrative assistant position, house manager, or personal assistant role
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
Provide exceptional customer service to clients = responsive, communicative, friendly, helpful
Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
Comfortable working remotely via Zoom and communicating through email or chat
Comfortable making phone calls in a professional and friendly manner
Employment is contingent upon passing a background check including financial services review.
