Pay Range: $20.59 - 27.40 hourly

Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle

As NFM?s Transportation Specialist II you are responsible for administrative collaboration within the Inbound Transportation department including, but is not limited to, vendor/carrier training, ensuring all purchase orders reflect accurate arrival dates at NFM. This position will have a focus on international logistic management solutions and support the Transportation teams with administrative tasks and reports. This is a remote position requiring the candidate to reside in one of the following states: NE, IA, MO, KS or TX.

Job Duties: A Day in the Life
? Monitor Analyze carrier general rate increases, vendor and carrier compliance, vendor, and carrier performance
? Manage Convey P.O. information to merchandiser (i.e., production delay, fabric delay, discontinued
? Plan Schedule and facilitate onboarding for new vendors and/or carriers on NFM processes and software
? Assist Serve as point of contact between supply chain and other divisions to solve transportation service issues
? Collaborate With the planning team to execute resolutions for load and merchandise problems

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes? ? High School Diploma or GED ? 3 years of experience in transportation management solutions and vendor/carrier relations ? 3 years of experience working with international distribution vendors, international freight carriers, consolidation partners etc ? Proficient computer knowledge to include Microsoft Office Applications with intermediate level knowledge of Excel including but not limited to data formulas, queries, pivot tables ? Ability to enter data quickly and accurately ? Pre-employment screening includes, but isn?t limited to, criminal background check
