What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Provide excellent customer service primarily by telephone to Medicaid Providers and/or Members
• Assist customers with coverage and claims-related questions
• Accurately interpret benefits and policy provisions for beneficiaries
• Conduct research and follow-up for prompt resolution of disputed claims
• Document calls clearly and consistently in the computer system

What is Required (Qualifications):
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a call center environment
• Experience working in the healthcare industry, specifically with Medicaid or Medicare
• Ability to follow written policies and procedures
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent; may hold a 2-year post-high school degree or a Bachelor's degree

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
• Experience in health/human services
• Familiarity with auto answer systems
• Experience working in a metric-driven work environment
• Prior office or clerical experience
• Experience meeting specific service level agreements (SLAs)
