Key Responsibilities
? Deliver one-on-one sign language interpretation for an elementary student in a virtual learning context.
? Promote effective communication between the student, educators, and classmates using American Sign Language (ASL).
? Ensure that all instructional materials and discussions are accessible to the student.
? Uphold confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all educational scenarios.
? Collaborate with teachers to support the student?s learning and growth.
? Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in evaluating student progress as needed.

Required Skills
? Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
? Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
? Capacity to work independently and effectively manage time in a remote environment.

Qualifications
? EIPA score of 4.0 or higher is required.
? Prior experience as a Sign Language Interpreter in educational settings is essential.
? Preference will be given to candidates with experience in virtual interpretation.
? Candidates must have successfully completed the written examination for sign language interpretation.

Compensation And Benefits
