Key Responsibilities
? Accurately receive and register payments and adjustments to accounts.
? Post copays, deductibles, coinsurance, write-offs, and other payments in accordance with the Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
? Effectively apply recoupments based on EOB guidelines.
? Utilize account data for accurate write-offs related to CPT codes as instructed by payers.
? Perform system transactions to accurately post daily cash receipts, retractions, refunds, denials, and adjustments.
? Achieve productivity benchmarks while upholding the highest quality standards.
? Manage sensitive information meticulously, in compliance with professional standards and relevant regulations.

Required Skills
? Previous experience in medical billing is preferred.
? Strong understanding of medical billing terminology and procedures.
? Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
? Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational capabilities.
? Ability to conduct effective information analysis.
? Excellent documentation and time management skills.
? Basic proficiency in mathematics.

Qualifications
? High school diploma or equivalent is required.
? Experience in medical billing is advantageous.
