PUBLIC RELATIONS ACCOUNT DIRECTOR, MEDIA & ADVERTISING TECHNOLOGY

A midsize Public Relations agency is seeking an Account Director of Public Relations within our Media & Advertising Technology PR practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the current media landscape as it relates to B2B communications in the media & advertising technology space, and will be confident in... leading and guiding client programs and junior team members. The candidate will have strong media relations with industry trades and beyond. This role will work with venture-backed startup companies to large, multinational publicly traded companies.

Responsibilities: ? Lead five client accounts at once, serving as the main client point of contact ? Ideate & execute impactful PR strategy ? Day-to-day program management, keeping track of current projects and managing up and down accordingly ? Regularly place client in the media using your substantial media relationships in the technology space ? Execute final draft of strategic plan ? Final review of status reports / forecast / recaps to be provided to Managing Director / SVP ? Cultivate and manage junior staff SAE, AE and AAE level staffers

Requirements: ? Bachelor?s Degree ? 5-8 years prior PR agency experience, ideally in the technology space ? Strong written and verbal communication skills ? Team player with ability to take the lead on relevant projects ? Experience managing junior team members ? Substantial media contacts in the technology space
