Online Chat Support Associate

Discovery Communications is seeking a dedicated and energetic Online Chat Support Associate to join our team in New York City, New York. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities...
• Engage with customers through online chat to provide support and answer any inquiries or issues they may have
• Utilize decision-making skills to quickly and effectively resolve customer concerns
• Use persuasion techniques to upsell products or services to customers when appropriate
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers

Requirements:
• 4 years of experience in customer service or online chat support
• Strong decision-making skills
• Persuasive communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficiency in typing and using online chat platforms
• High school diploma or equivalent
