We?re looking for a dynamic and adaptable Accountant to join our team and support small nonprofit organizations. This role is crucial in assisting organizations that are dedicated to serving their local communities. Responsibilities
? Collaborate with the Controller and CFO to deliver exceptional accounting services.
? Build and maintain strong client relationships.
? Maintain a chart of accounts for accurate financials.
? Record cash receipts and make bank deposits.
? Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts monthly.
? Prepare client invoices and manage accounts receivable.
? Execute month-end closing entries.
? Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements and other requested schedules.
? Manage the annual budget, track variances, and report significant issues.
? Process client payroll and ensure accurate ledger entries.

Qualifications
? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
? At least 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
? Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop/Online or willingness to learn.
? Familiarity with nonprofit accounting or a strong interest in learning.
