A leading publisher in the physical sciences is seeking a Part time - REMOTE temporary full-time Editorial Assistant to join their dynamic team for 6+ months. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Publishing Development and provide critical support to the Publishing Team.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of editorial experience and is looking to increase their portfolio.

The position is paying up to $28/hour and the company would like to hire ASAP.

Key Responsibilities: ? Review submissions to ensure they meet ethical standards. ? Manage articles through the peer review and production processes, ensuring timely publication. ? Communicate with authors, editors, and conference organizers, providing guidance on publishing processes and addressing inquiries. ? Assist with administrative tasks that support the success of the Conference Proceedings program.

Requirements: ? Strong written and verbal communication skills. ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. ? Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time effectively. ? Team player with the ability to adapt to changing situations. ? Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
