What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Process UB04 and HCFA-1500 claims accurately and efficiently
• Verify billing data accuracy and make necessary revisions
• Identify and report claim submission issue trends to management
• Investigate and review accounts receivable, following productivity standards
• Analyze daily aging of insurance accounts and take appropriate follow-up actions
• Analyze and resolve denied claims to ensure accurate payments and maximum reimbursement
• Status claims resolution, appeals, and corrected claims via payer websites

What is Required (Qualifications):
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Medical Billing/Coding Program certificate
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Experience with third-party billing in a healthcare setting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web navigation

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
• Previous experience in a hospital or physician's office
• Familiarity with web-based applications
