Accountant

In Person Or RemoteFull Time Or Part Time...Flexible ScheduleResponsibilities:
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information and support decision-making processes
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
• Maintain Company Taxes
• Oversee Bookkeeper
Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• CPA certification preferred
• Proven experience in securities law, public accounting, or corporate finance
• Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in financial report writing and analysis
• Experience with Xero or other accounting software systems
• Familiarity with general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation
• Solid understanding of debits, credits, and double-entry bookkeeping
Skills:
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
