Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, implementing treatment plans and behavior support strategies developed by our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supervisors. Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during therapy sessions, using this information to inform treatment decisions and drive progress. Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support plans, and engage in other activities that promote skill development and behavior reduction. Collaborate with BCBA supervisors to refine treatment plans, address client needs, and stay up-to-date on best practices in ABA therapy. Maintain a professional and goal-oriented approach in all aspects of your work, ensuring timely arrival, preparedness, and responsiveness to client and family needs. Foster strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of compassion, respect, and inclusivity. Essential and Preferred Qualifications To succeed as an RBT with Key Autism Services, you'll need: A High School diploma or GED. Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification, or a willingness to obtain certification through our assistance program. At least 1 year of experience working with children in a 1:1 setting, or equivalent experience as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and colleagues. A reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, as well as auto insurance that meets our requirements. The ability to lift up to 35lbs, perform fine and gross motor skills, bend, kneel, squat, and sit or stand for extended periods. A willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor settings, responding quickly to the needs and behaviors of children. Preferred qualifications include: Prior experience with ABA therapy, Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plans, or related fields. A background working with children on the autism spectrum, or a strong desire to learn and grow in this area. Flexibility in scheduling, including morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.
