This position focuses on processing prior authorizations and working with healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and patients to ensure timely approvals. Job Requirements Key Responsibilities • Perform outbound and inbound calls to assist patients and healthcare providers. • Review and process prior authorization requests for medications, services, and procedures. • Verify insurance eligibility, coverage, and benefits. • Partner with providers, pharmacies, and payers to obtain necessary documentation. • Accurately document all interactions for compliance and auditing purposes. • Ensure all cases are processed in a timely manner according to program guidelines. • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all company policies. Qualifications • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in medical benefits verification or prior authorization (required). • Strong understanding of medical terminology, insurance claims, and authorization workflows. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to multitask in a high-volume call environment. • Must have high-speed internet (modem access required; no hotspots). • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • High school diploma or equivalent required.
