[Remote] Portfolio Manager, Web3 Capital

Cryptocurrency Investors and Trade Association (CITA) is a global industry body representing individuals and organizations operating across the cryptocurrency and Web3 ecosystem. They are seeking a Portfolio Manager to lead Web3-focused capital strategies, responsible for portfolio construction, capital allocation, and risk management across Web3-native investments. Responsibilities • Design and manage Web3 capital portfolios across protocol tokens, ecosystem investments, and on-chain strategies • Allocate capital based on protocol fundamentals, token economics, governance dynamics, and market conditions • Manage exposure, concentration limits, liquidity risk, and drawdowns across volatile Web3 markets • Evaluate investment opportunities related to Layer 1s, Layer 2s, infrastructure protocols, and emerging Web3 platforms • Monitor governance developments and on-chain activity that may impact portfolio risk and returns • Produce performance attribution, risk reporting, and investment commentary for senior stakeholders • Operate within governance and ethical standards aligned with CITA’s industry code of conduct Skills • Proven experience managing Web3 or crypto-native investment portfolios with direct capital responsibility • Strong understanding of token economics, protocol governance, and Web3 market structure • Demonstrated ability to manage downside risk and liquidity in decentralized markets • Experience evaluating early and mid-stage Web3 protocols from an investment perspective • Strong analytical capability and familiarity with portfolio and risk management tools • High integrity, accountability, and disciplined execution aligned with professional standards • Ability to communicate investment rationale, risk, and performance clearly to stakeholders • This is a remote role; however, candidates must be U.S. citizens and authorized to work in the United States.
