Remote - Part-Time - Medical Receptionist

Job description: We are looking for a reliable, detailed-oriented, and professional virtual medical receptionist who is excited to work for a holistic-centered, medical weight loss & wellness (including hormone therapy and mental health) telemedicine start-up clinic. We work closely with clients to holistically address the underlying factors affecting their weight and wellness concerns to achieve more sustainable results. As a virtual medical receptionist, you play an integral part of our team as the first point-of-contact for our customers. We desire a candidate who is passionate about health and wellness and eager to ensure the practice continues to grow and provide quality service. Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities: • Promptly answers phones and responds to emails • Scheduling appointments, managing schedules, and other clerical/administrative tasks • Manage lab order requests • Uploading files into EHR system(s) • Managing medication refill; contacting pharmacies as necessary • Conduct prior authorizations when appropriate. • Managing client intakes with direction from clinician • Create and maintain patient records • Answer patient questions and address concerns in a professional manner • Manage social media accounts Position Requirements: • Excellent organizational and communication skills • Top-Notch customer service and phone etiquette • High School diploma or GED certificate • Experience working in a medical office/clinic • Intermediate to advance experience with Microsoft Office Suite • Experience in weight loss and mental health highly desirable! • Experience with electronic medical records (EHR) highly desirable! • Experience posting on social media a plus Benefits: • Paid time off (PTO) • Retirement plan (401 K) through Human Interest • Bonus pay • Work from home!
