[Remote] Lead Data Analyst

They are seeking a Lead Data Analyst to mentor a team, design strategic data models, and manage advanced analytics projects while presenting insights to drive business growth. Responsibilities • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts. • Design and deploy scalable, robust, user-friendly strategic data models and dashboards. • Query and manipulate large data sets with SQL with Oracle BI and Tableau; • Clean and preprocess data. • Work with Data Engineering and IT to enhance data collection, warehousing, and new analytical tools and software. • Manage advanced analytics projects from conception through execution, aligning with business strategy and delivering measurable ROI. • Present complex data to stakeholders and executives, providing actionable insights to drive business growth. • Develop best data handling, analysis, and visualization practices to maintain data integrity and security. • Identify and present cohesive data narratives for improvements and strategies; • Package deliverables clearly, addressing client business needs; • Telecommuting/Work From Home within the U.S. is acceptable. • Annual travel for approximately three days to Fort Lauderdale, FL. Skills • Master’s degree in Information Technology or a closely related field, and three years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar. • Advanced proficiency in Tableau; experience creating and maintaining 30+ dashboards for diverse analyses. • Expertise in SQL for complex querying; experience optimizing large datasets. • Experience with Cloud SQL environments (Google BigQuery and Snowflake). • Strong communication skills; experience conveying analytical insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Experience leading at least ten projects, defining metrics, and aligning data strategies with business objectives. • Experience using Regular Expressions for data extraction and normalization. • Proficiency with GitLab, JIRA, and Confluence.
