Description: Short’s Travel Management, a leading provider of NCAA Athletic travel for collegiate athletics has a immediate opening for an Operations Coordinator with the STM Driven team. What you will doing in this role: As Operations Coordinator for Driven, responsible for coordinating ground transportation operations/logistics and sales functions that support ongoing business sales and client renewals. This position may work remotely. Essential Functions Manage sold business with core functions and competencies as they relate to customer service and vendor relationships, at times outside of 9-5 (M-F) “standard” business hours. Collect and exchange customer itinerary/information and vendor/driver information for assigned programs. Ensure Certificates of Insurance are correctly on file for seasonally assigned programs, and NCAA Safety documentation is valid on all assigned NCAA Championship movements. Promote stability within the organization for both customers and vendors. Coordinate special and unique clients’ needs with assigned vendors while assisting with client changes and adjustments to scheduling and Irregular Operations, “IROPS,” when issues such as weather, mechanical delay or similar arise. Display demonstrated proficiency in Salesforce, SAFESTAT, Smartsheet, Microsoft Excel, Outlook and TEAMS. Exhibit commitment to learn the ground transportation industry (including relationship building with key vendors) and STM Driven’s processes in securing ground transportation for our clients. 24/7 availability to our clients Assist NCAA throughout Championship Seasons Expectation to attend, on an as-needed basis, annual conferences and trainings. Participate in continuing education and ongoing training opportunities. We are a team at Short’s Travel Management and as such, you may be expected to assist in other departments or handle tasks outside of your typical position scope for the benefit of our clients or company. Other responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Strong organizational skills & attention to detail. Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. Availability nights & weekends as needed. Self-starter with ability to focus on goals without constant direct leadership or oversight. Previous experience in the travel or hospitality industry, personal assistance, operations or ground transportation is a plus. Understands and able to balance customer vs. internal needs. Expectation to attend, on an as-needed basis, annual conferences and trainings. Participate in continuing education and ongoing training opportunities. Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, TEAMS, PowerPoint & Outlook), Salesforce, SharePoint and SAFESTAT. Experience with Salesforce a plus.
