A day in the life… • Develop and manage financial plans that balance the ambition and vision of our merchants with the deliverable objectives of finance and the strategic initiatives of the company • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, such as category planners, replenishment, price, and allocation to understand and align on business objectives, opportunities, and risks • Analyze historical and current data, trends, and merchant feedback, to produce intelligent insights, actionable recommendations, and flexible business solutions • Communicate and educate various stakeholders on the financial plans, assumptions, and results using clear and compelling storytelling and data visualization • Act as a change leader to support company initiatives and ensure adoption by merchandising team • Influence and empower teams to take ownership of their business and deliver key performance indicators, such as sales, margin, inventory, and turn.
