Legal Researcher (Remote in Colorado)
About the position Rocket Lawyer is looking for a sharp and energetic Legal Researcher to join our team. This role will be in charge of researching, building, optimizing, and maintaining Rocket Lawyer's rich library of proprietary legal documents so they are user-friendly, current, and legally compliant. Success in this position will require a strong legal background, research skills, impeccable writing, and editing skills, as well as excellent critical data analysis and problem-solving. Candidates should be detail-oriented, interested in technology, know how to review and assess legal documents and have a general understanding of as many areas of law as possible. The ability to identify key legal issues for a wide variety of customers, break issues down into manageable steps, and assemble those steps into a clear and straightforward process will be a critical part of this role. Success in this position requires excellent communication and time management skills. The ability to work through projects with little or no supervision is essential, as are the abilities to commit to and deliver against deadlines and adapt to changes in requirements quickly and efficiently.
