Key Responsibilities
? Provide personalized tutoring to K-12 students, either one-on-one or in small groups of up to three students.
? Assist students with SAT preparation and various academic subjects.
? Employ teaching resources effectively to support student learning and engagement.
? Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that inspires a love for learning.

Required Skills
? Strong critical thinking and reasoning skills, evidenced by a high level of performance on SAT-level material.
? Proficiency in critical reading and writing, with a thorough understanding of grammar principles.
? A background in English/American literature and literary interpretation is advantageous.
? A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to helping young learners succeed.
? Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to create a consistent weekly teaching timetable.

Qualifications
? A bachelor's degree or higher in any relevant field.
? A minimum score of 700 on the Reading/Writing section of the SAT to qualify for high school tutoring.
? Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
