Remote Medical Customer Service Specialist

As a Remote Medical Customer Service Specialist at Community Health Systems ? The orientation and training is Monday - Friday, 8:00am ? 4:30pm CST for approximately 3 weeks. The normal working hours at Monday - Friday, 7:00am ? 3:30pm CST.

Required Experience:
? 1+ years of medical revenue cycle experience

Preferred Experience:
? 2+ years of medical revenue cycle experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ? Ability to review and identify issues from calls into the telephony system in a timely manner. (50%) ? Maintain a working knowledge of workflow systems in order to properly assign follow up dates , department requests, and notate appropriately. (10%) ? Ensure all calls within business hours are answered and handled appropriately while providing exceptionally high customer service to callers within company guidelines. (10%) ? Ability to perform payment transactions and request payment from accounts reflecting a balance. (10%) ? Assist with clerical duties as needed such as email, facsimile, etc. (10%) ? Requires close supervision and guidance from the supervisor. (10%) ? This is a fully remote opportunity.
