Job Opportunity

We are seeking experienced candidates for legal and judicial contract work focused on transcribing depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings. This position is 100% remote and open to Independent Contractors, with the flexibility to set your own schedule. Weekend availability is encouraged.

Responsibilities
? Transcribe audio recordings from depositions, hearings, and judicial proceedings while strictly adhering to style guides.
? Ensure accuracy through intense attention to detail.
? Utilize legal terminology and demonstrate excellent grammar.

Qualifications
? Significant experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription is required.
? Excellent listening skills and the ability to discern details in audio content.
? Strong literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
? Adherence to deadlines and client-specific style guides.
? Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment.
? Proficient typing skills with speed and accuracy.
? Capability to process extreme audio/text content, which may include offensive material.
? Ability to pass a background check.
? Familiarity with legal terminology.
? Court reporting students may also be considered.

Technical Requirements

To effectively utilize our global transcription technology, candidates must have:
? High-speed internet connection.
? A computer or laptop.
? Quality noise-canceling headphones.
? Windows 10 operating system.
? An antivirus program with daily virus definition updates (excluding Webroot antivirus).
? An Infinity foot pedal (highly recommended).
? Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
