Part Time Accounting Data Entry Clerk

Overview

Seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to work remotely, with the ability to meet on-site occasionally. Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This role is essential for providing timely financial information to support a local Non-Profit organization.

Compensation

Monthly stipend, hours are minimal 10-15 hours a month. No benefits, 1099 or monthly billing. Compensation will be adjusted if additional hours are required. Initially there may be additional hours required.

Duties

? Payroll processing and ensure timely payments for one employee

? Maintain accurate accounting records using QuickBooks online

? Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting

? Conduct account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data

? Prepare balance sheet reconciliations on a regular basis

? Assist in the preparation of financial reports, cash flow statements

? Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax preparation as needed

? Collaborate with public accounting firms during audits or reviews

? Work directly, reporting to the Treasurer

Qualifications

? Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role within accounting

? Strong knowledge of payroll processes and tax regulations

? Proficiency in QuickBooks online

? Experience with general ledger reconciliation and accounts receivable management

? Ability to prepare detailed financial reports and documentation

? Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

? Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies in financial data

Preferred Qualifications

? Degree in Accounting or related field (preferred but not required)

? Experience working with a non-profit organization (preferred but not required)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $300.00 per month

Expected hours: 2.5 ? 3.75 per week
