Colusa County Office of Education programs also provide educational services for students with special needs, adults, preschool children, and wards of the Juvenile Court system. Additionally, as the intermediate unit between the California State Department of Education and local school districts, the Colusa County Office of Education represents the districts on appropriate matters before State government.

Job Summary

Colusa County Office of Education is recruiting for a Home Base Educator to develop, plan and conduct home visits with children and their families; organize and supervise social experiences for children and families; involve parents in program activities; provide parents with information regarding social and health services appropriate to meet the needs of the family.

Requirements / Qualifications

CURRENT ASSIGNMENT LOCATION:
1 - Arbuckle Children's Center

SALARY:
$19.24 - $22.27 per hour

HOURS/DAYS:
7.5 hours per day, 261 days per year

BENEFITS:
Partially paid medical, dental and vision benefits; paid sick and vacation leave; CalPERS retirement

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Possess 12 core ECE units and have a minimum of a home-based CDA credential or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an associate's degree.

LICENSES & REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate will be required to provide DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance, TB test clearance, COVID-19 vaccination verification (or program-required equivalent) a valid California driver's license, and immunizations as described on complete job description following acceptance of job offer.

Bilingual English/Spanish Required
