The Search UX Mobile team is at the forefront of enhancing the user experience on the Search screen for both iOS and Android platforms, while also overseeing its essential client-side and backend infrastructure.The Search screen is at the core of Yelp?s product, being one of our highest traffic screens, and engineers on the Search UX Mobile team make changes every day that affect virtually 100% of Yelp?s userbase. To build seamless, engaging Search experiences, engineers not only write code but also collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and other teams across the company.

What you'll do:
? Build new features in the Yelp app to connect people with great local businesses.
? Improve and iterate on existing functionality to reliably give our users a smooth experience.
? Continue to learn, grow, and help us take on brand new challenges.
? Be a key part of the larger iOS developer community at Yelp.

What it takes to succeed:
? Experience with the iOS platform (Swift).
? Comfortable working with Mobile Backend engineers.
? Experience with iOS testing, from breaking controller logic into unit-testable pieces to automated UI testing.
? An eagerness to embrace scalability, reliability, and performance challenges.
