World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding.

WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce.

This is a remote Contract/Consultant position. Generally, working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements. The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language. Resumes must be submitted in English.

Essential Functions
?ode and enter invoices in Sage and Corpay;
?ata entry of manual check and invoice payments;
?eview invoices and expense reports;
?istribute invoices for approval and follow up on approvals;
?onduct weekly reconciliations of AP records CORPAY / SAGE with the general ledger to ensure accuracy
?equest monthly statements to all vendors and reconcile AP aging report.
?nsure compliance of accounts payable policies, procedures, processes and internal controls;
?erify approval on all invoices and payment requests;
?pdate and maintain vendor database;
?ommunicate with vendors as required;
?bility to process and follow-up on rush items;
?aintain account payable files;
?rovides support for all general administrative tasks;
?nnual 1099 generation;
?pecial projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements
?achelor's degree in finance or accounting
?-3 years of Accounts Payable and General Accounting experience
?bility to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
?bility to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
?roficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP and payment management software
?xcellent organizational and analytical skills
?igh energy, positive attitude, proactive problem solver
?ood interpersonal skills
?ou must have your own laptop or desktop to use (the company does not supply equipment)
?xcellent English fluency and communication skills, both written and verbal
