Financial Controller / Analyst

The ideal candidate will manage financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the company’s growth through effective financial analysis and reporting. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee all accounting operations, including the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow management. • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. • Monitor and analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making. • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and accounting standards. • Collaborate with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud. • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, payroll processing, and tax preparation. • Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors. • Support cost reduction initiatives and monitor business performance metrics. • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by senior leadership. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred). • 5+ years of experience in a financial management or controlling role. • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations. • Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. • Prior experience in managing payroll, taxes, and compliance with federal and state regulations is a plus. Work Schedule: • Full-time or Part-time availability. • Flexibility to work within office hours, with occasional extended hours based on reporting deadlines.
