As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you will play a vital role in our team, ensuring the seamless processing of insurance claims and authorization requests. **Schedule and Work Environment** As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you will work 34 hours per week, with flexible hours between 8am and 4:30pm CST. This role can be fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. With our state-of-the-art technology and secure online platform, you will have everything you need to excel in this position. **Key Responsibilities** As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, your primary responsibilities will include: * Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers * Entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times * Navigating efficiently and effectively through the imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry * Differentiating between different claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines * Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling * Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times * Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements **Additional Responsibilities** In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also be expected to: * Perform quality review of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines * Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed * Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies * Provide recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate **Qualifications and Requirements** To be a successful Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you will need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * At least 6 months of experience in data entry or a typing-focused role * Strong data entry/typing skills * Excellent attention to detail * High degree of accuracy * Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team * Strong communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you will need to possess: * Strong data entry skills, with a minimum of 8,200 keystrokes per hour (KSPH) and a 98% accuracy rate * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management * Strong attention to detail and accuracy **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor with blithequark, you will have opportunities for career growth and professional development.
