Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet, while also driving innovation and excellence in all aspects of our work. **What You'll Do** As a Senior Engineer, your responsibilities will include: * Conducting training sessions for Specialists in areas of expertise * Serving as a mentor to other Engineers * Leading project teams or resolving complex issues as a group leader/facilitator * Collaborating with manufacturers and regulatory specialists to ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and company manuals * Developing customized methods and special procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections, and other maintenance activities that aren't covered in existing manuals * Staying informed about daily airline activities, including areas of responsibility, and reviewing daily needs in accordance with aircraft/departmental targets and management mandates * Investigating aircraft/part issues that may cause flight delays or cancellations, significant uses of labor or materials, or disruptions in maintenance activities, and determining appropriate corrective actions * Providing Designing support as needed to restore workable status in the event of discrepant circumstances affecting aircraft or parts * Responding to requests from Maintenance and other airline divisions when specialized support is required to assist with tasks or resolve issues * Developing activity plans for fleet/multi-fleet and part Designing projects and pursuing completion as per evaluated needs * Collaborating with other airline divisions as needed to ensure effective and efficient execution of Designing procedures * Creating Designing documents to implement specialized methods for repairs, modifications, inspections, or other maintenance activities that provide benefits in accordance with aircraft/departmental targets and management mandates * Maintaining knowledge of current and future regulations that affect areas of responsibility and ensuring that all Designing activities maintain compliance with relevant administrative requirements * Utilizing available resources to enhance levels of technical expertise and practical experience continuously, as well as improving communication skills, using time effectively, and other individual characteristics relevant to maximum effectiveness and efficiency in performing assigned duties * Effectively engaging with colleagues and management at all levels **All You'll Need for Success** To excel in this role, you'll require: * A Bachelor's degree in a Designing field or related Designing license * At least 1 year of Designing experience in a related field or 2 years of experience without a degree * A&P license * Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant tools * Ability to analyze technical information and make data-driven decisions * Demonstrated fitness, capacity, and willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities * Ability to prepare and deliver presentations that promote awareness of solutions * Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external clients **What You'll Get** As a valued member of the blithequark team, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes: * Medical, dental, vision, and prescription benefits to keep you healthy and thriving * Virtual doctor visits, flexible spending accounts, and other perks to support your well-being * 401(k) program with employer contributions available after one year * Additional benefits, including our Employee Assistance Program, pet insurance, and discounts on hotels, vehicles, travel, and more **Join the blithequark Family** At blithequark, we're committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
