Digital Artist, 3D Generalist (Remote)

Digital Artist, 3D Generalist Job Summary Visual Development sits in CG Studio and is part of our Global Marketing Communications group. We are a team of experienced digital artists, dedicated to craft, creativity, and the exploration of new technologies. We are looking for highly versatile and skilled CG artists who are interested in creating conceptual imagery and motion for ideation and visualization of our global marketing campaigns. In this role you will work as part of a highly collaborative team dedicated to the visualization of products, campaign identities, and various other illustrative and VFX deliverables in both motion and static formats. Key Qualifications • Expert CG Generalist with a proven emphasis on illustrative design, animation and/or product lighting and rendering • Mastery of Cinema 4D, Houdini, Maya or equivalent 3D software package • Highly proficient in Photoshop, Nuke and/or After Effects • A portfolio that displays an excellent eye for light, color, composition, form and design • Understanding of photographic principles of light (practical studio lighting a plus) • Expert knowledge of motion design principles and experience in their application to tasteful and innovative animation • Ability to create compelling conceptual visuals using procedural and simulation methods • Ability to execute on a multitude of 3D illustrative styles, from photorealistic to highly stylized • Excellent collaboration skills when working with art directors and motion designers on a coherent visual style • Ability to work in a dynamic and constantly evolving and changing environment - able to stay organized and self-motivated with little oversight • Outstanding attention to detail, a passion for craftsmanship and the pursuit of artistic excellence • Ability to adapt and learn in a fast paced environment with speed and precision • Highly organized and self-motivated with excellent time management skills • Experience in Blender, TouchDesigner, or other realtime engines a plus • Knowledge of Houdini and Python scripting a plus • Character Animation experience a plus Description • You will be an integral part of the Visual Development team working on a variety of conceptual imagery and motion design projects across various media channels. • You will ideate and explore a broad range of creative solutions to express an idea, and iterate until you have arrived at the best possible solution with speed and precision. • You will be expected to visually communicate ideas through lighting, design and composition, and establish clean and highly organized 3D scenes for downstream teams to build upon • You will collaborate closely with art directors and must have excellent interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communication skills. • You must be organized, deadline-driven and possess excellent problem solving skills. • You should be a proactive and independent creative, able to adapt to an ever evolving landscape with creativity and innovation while working in ambiguity and still delivering results on time.
